Jurupa Hills High School is considered an award winning PBIS school. PBIS stands for "Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports." We believe that when students are aware of the expectations (school-wide) and demonstrate the expected behaviors, they should be acknowledged. Our school's expectations are: Accountable, Respectful, and Safe. Our PBIS team has three levels, with the Tier 1 team consisting of teachers, staff, students, parents, and administrators. The objective of the PBIS framework is to increase student engagement, attendance, and academic success. The teams do this through data-based decision making and action planning.
