Mrs. Darlene Meyers
Mrs. Meyers was born in Greeley, Colorado and came to California for her first teaching job in Baldwin Park. She taught for six years at the Santa Fe Fundamental School in Baldwin Park, and worked for one year at the district office in Categorical. She accepted a position as a consultant at Los Angeles County Office of Education overseeing 18 school districts for compliance with programs and funding. She missed the students and applied in the Fontana Unified School District as Assistant Principal at Virginia Primrose Elementary and became the principal during the following schcool year. She is currently the Principal at Poplar Elementary School.
Mrs. Meyers has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Arts in Education. She attended Azusa Pacific University to receive her Administrative Credential.She has two children who are both in college. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, walking and reading a good book.
Mrs. Meyers said, "I feel like I have the best job in the world working with our students because everyday is different. The challenges keep the job exciting and the staff are great people to work with because they are focused on our students."

Mrs. Jacqueline Piddingtion
Mrs. Piddington grew up in Southern California. After high school, she attended University of California, Riverside and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She continued at University of California, Riverside and received her Masters Degree in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching credential.
She started her career in Fontana 18 years ago and still enjoy being apart of this community. Her first teaching job was at Citrus Elementary School for 8 years, teaching 4th and 5th grade. She also was their Instructional support teacher where she taught Math and ELA interventions for Grades K-6.
Mrs. Piddington then moved onto being a Secondary Math Intervention, Teacher on Assignment for 1 year where she supported all 7 Middle Schools and 7 High Schools. In following her passion, she became an Elementary Math Teacher on Assignment for 7 more years at the District Office where Mrs. Piddington supported all 30 Elementary Schools, Administration, and Staff with their math instruction.
This is her second year as an Elementary Assistant Principal for Sierra Lakes Elementary and Poplar Elementary Schools.
Mrs. Piddington stated, “I feel I have the best job in the world working with our students, parents, and staff. Our staff is student- centered and are doing their very best every day to ensure academic and emotional success for every student.”
