Dear Kaiser Cat Students and Parents,
We are now well into the second quarter of the school year and this semester will be ending with final exams on December 17, 18, and 19.
Wednesday, November 6 was a great day to be a Cat as we celebrated 438 students on campus during two awards ceremonies and two of our top Scholar Athletes were recognized by the Fontana Unified Board of Trustees! On campus, we recognized students at our Fall Academic Awards Ceremony based on the final semester grades they earned last May. 263 students were recognized as Gold Medalists having a grade point average of 3.8 or higher while 110 Cat scholars were celebrated as Silver Medalists having earned a grade point average of 3.5-3.79. Additionally, we applauded 65 scholars who excelled in Advanced Placement tests and one student who was recognized as a Commended Student in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program! We anticipate celebrating even more students in March when we add our highest-achieving freshmen to the program!
Athletically, our Varsity Volleyball team won the League Championship and qualified for the CIF Playoffs along with the Girls’ Cross Country team! This was also the first season for our Girls’ Varsity Flag Football team, and not only did they qualify for the CIF Playoffs, but they excelled by advancing all the way to the Semifinal Game! Go Cats!
I believe this quarter will be equally exciting as we cheer and support our Cats to achieve excellence in academics, athletics, activities, and the arts! Thank you, Kaiser Cat parents, for partnering with us to help our students continue to be successful. Together, we are an unbeatable team!
Thank you!
