How Students Take iO Assessments at Home

Required Software for Student Devices

Students will need to access the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browsers from their FUSD device.

Note: Test settings allow students to take assessments at home on their own or proctored by a teacher. These instructions are for those tests set to be proctored by a teacher.

How to Logon to Take an iO Assessment

  1. Open the web browser of your choice, either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Go to the FUSD Student web page, click the ClassLink icon, then students enter the same credentials that are used to log into their FUSD device. Click the Sign In button, then click the IO EDUCATION REMOTE TESTING icon from the ClassLink LaunchPad.
  3. From the login screen, enter the following information:
    1. In the field under Student ID, students enter their FUSD Student ID.
    2. In the Session ID field, students enter the session ID provided by their teacher. Teachers can provide the Session ID through Microsoft Teams.
  4. Click the blue Login button to take the test.
  5. Click Begin Test to take the test.
    1. Test questions will appear on the screen. Students can test normally as if they were in school. Teachers will monitor the tests from their computers.
    2. Students can communicate with the teacher through the chat feature in Microsoft Teams with questions or if help is needed.
