This February, Fontana High School's Traditional Competitive Cheer program capped a dizzying ascent with a United Spirit Association Nationals title at the Anaheim Convention Center. After a decade-plus of not entering competitions, Fohi put together our first comeback season in 2018-19. They place 2nd in Division 4 in the first ever CIF-SS Championships and earned the chance to appear at the 2018-19 USA Nationals. This seaon, the squad returned to the USA Nationals stage. There were some issues as a team member ended up in the ER with an injury a mere two weeks before Nationals. On Wednesday, he was fullly cleared, and on Friday night Prelims we "hit zero" and walked out of the arena in 1st Place. Early the next morning, the crew hustled back out to Anaheim and nailed their performance again in the high-pressure atmosphere of the main arena and were the last team standing on stage as the places were called out.
