The Girls Basketball program soared to heights they haven't experienced in several decades by claiming their first ever Skyline League Championship. Under the leadership of new Head Coach Eric Tabatabai, the Lady Steelers dominated their newly formed league. They finished the regular season with a 21-3 overall record and a perfect 8-0 league record. Led by Sophomore Akami Garrett, Senior Anakaren Quezada, and Freshman Destiny Rentie, the girls earned the #5 seed in CIF-SS Division 5AA and earned a spot in the Quarterfinals. Unfortunately, that is where their run ended. It was a magical season for a program that has been battling to earn their way back to success on the court.
