After a few decades of dormancy, Fohi Boys Volleyball was reborn this Spring. The boys managed to sweep through league with an 9-1 league season and a first place finish in the league tournament. Despite having an overall record of 20-7 and being a 1st place team, they still had to compete in a "wild card" game in order to get into the 1st round. The boys handily defeated the visitors from Pete Knight HS in Antelope Valley and then travelled to Rancho Verde HS in Perris. At Rancho Verde, the team overcame a raucous crowd to win in four games and earn a home match against #1 seed Carpinteria HS. Unfortunately, the more experienced Carpinteria squad held off the upstarts and the season ended in CIF-SS Round 2. With most of the squad returning, the team will move up to the Sunkist League to test their mettle
