Boys Water Polo Undefeated in San Andreas League play
The 2019 Boys Water Polo season started out a bit sluggishly. The squad only has one seionr on it, and some talented youngsters needed some seasoning. It didn't help that our pool's pump shut down and we had to practice off site in a City pool with no goals. In spite of all of that hardship, the boys found their groove and ended the first round of San Andreas League play undefeated while only getting to play one "home" game...we had to borrow Summit's home pool for that one.
Our Water Polo staff is currently rethinking EVER using goals again for practice as the Steelers ripped off 5 wins, scoring an average of almost 14 goals per game and only giving up a little over 2 goals/game. Looks like the boys have no problem facing adversity and continuing to succeed. With five games left to go, we they are in the driver's seat. However, team leaders are refusing to let off the throttle until three-in-a-row is secured.
